Mr. and Mis. Joe Kritzman and family were week end guests of Rev. and Mrs. John Goodpasture at Kcontz Lake. The Kritzmans are from South Bend. Mrs. Clyde Martin ana granddaughter, Tammy Huston, of Mishawaka, were in Walkerton on Monday to spend the day with Mrs. Minnie Mikesell. Mr. and Mrs. Ed Cole and sons and Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Beaty were callers of Mr. and Mrs. Roy Hoste tter on W. dnesday evening in celebration of Roy’s birthday. Mis. Calvin Tarlton and son S\e\e and Miss Nancy Dembickie, ci Guictt, were in Walkerton as guests ot Mrs. R itha Urbin on Sunday and they also visited mam other friends and places through the day. Indiana, for a fall showing <1 antiques, arts and crafts. Mrs. Marian Sharpe, of Muncie sn-nt Tuesday and Wednesday with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Bandendistel. A sister of Mis. Sharpe, Margaret Finkle, arcx mpanied Mrs. Sharpe to her new home in Muncie and then returned to her home in Indianapolis on Sunday. Mrs. George Hillis. Koontz Lake, sp nt the week end in Chicago as the guest of Miss Marge Weis. On Saturday they attended the Grand Lecturers School of the Eastern Star at the Scottish Rite Cathedral whore Mrs. Hillis met many old friends. Ms. Marie Holmes, of Fort Charlotte, formerly of Koontz Lake, has been here for a vacat. n to visit he r brother, Mr and Mrs. Henry Paschen and other idatives and friends in the area. David Knowlton underwent surgery i n the Billings Hospital, Chicago, on Monday. Miss Becky Randall celebrated h( r third birthday at the Murphy's with her little friends on Monday, October 22. Miss Betty Jones and her moth, er. Mis. Faye Jones, were in Ft. Wayne over the week end and Mrs Jones' sister, Mrs. Hazel Faulks, ieturned home with them on Sunday evening for a week. The Koontz Lake Conservation Club business meeting was held on Friday evening with the election of officers being the highlight of the meet.ng. These laymen come to share their faith in Christ with members of the church.
