Mrs. Correll. 81, formerly of 168 Liberty Street, North Liberty, up to April 8, residing in the T.B. Sanitarium. Elkville, died on Thursday, September 20, at 11:30 p.m. She came to North Liberty in 1943. The Rev. Rudolph Davis offici. ated with burial in the Elkville Cemetery, Illinois, Sh ewas born in Elkville on September 6, 1*92. to Ulysses and Emma Jane Addison Thorpe. She had been residing in Elkville for 51 years. She married Logan Correll on September 30, 190 K, in Murphysboro. He preceded her in death on December 7, 1954. She was a member of the First Bentacostal Church. Surviving are three sons. Robert. Walkerton; Loren, North Liberty; and Rodney, North Lewis, burg, Ohio; three daughters, Mary Rogers, LaPorte; Arlene Shirley and Reba Perryman, both of Elkville; a sister, Redora Challet, Oak Lawn; 34 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. A brother, two sons and two daughters preceded her in death. Mrs. Anna Thomas Mrs. Anna May Thomas, 96. route 3, Walkerton, died at 8:45 p.m. Sunday at Miller's Merry Manor, Plymouth, following a brief illness. Born February 1, 1877 at Morocco she came to the Walkerton area in 1965 from Kouts. Mrs. Thomas was married In January of 1902, to Irvin Thom, as, who preceded her i n death June 28, 1931. Surviving are one son, Lloyd Thomas, Walker, ton; and one grandchild. Services were conducted at the Nusbaum-Elkin Funeral Home at 2:00 p.m, Wednesday. with Rev. Clyde D. Wake, pastor of the Walkerton United Methodist Church, officiating. Burial was at Woodlawn Cemetery, Walker, ton.
