Daniels and Mrs. Kronk were appointed to make plans for an outing for the group. The second Sunday in September is the annual picnic of the club and it will be at Stuntz's Pine Forest with everyone to bring something to be auctioned off. Members were asked if they had any old sheet blankets and sWts to get them to the Walkerton Nursing Home for them to make pads. The thtme for the evening was "Going on Vacation." The lucky winner it having the state we wer • traveling to was Mrs. Wilder Burnside. Guessing the right amount of money in a coi>k.e jar, which is neided for a vacation, was Mrs. Wyman Hochstetler. The suitcase contest was won by Mrs. Ervillv Kaercher and Mrs. Elder. Afterwards with all the clothes to wash, Mrs. Philip Waldron Jr. got the prize and the door prize went to Mrs. Burnsides.
