The bride was given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a gown of white colonial cotton designed by and made by the bride. The bodice featured a high neck and wide square yoke, bordered by a ruffle of cotton crocheted lace. The largo puffed sleeves were gathered at the elbow into a long tight fitting cuff held by myraids of tiny pearl buttons. The waist was circled by a crocheted ruffle as was each of the three tiers of the bouffant skirt. From the back of her delicately woven p.cture hat fell a floor length illusion veil. She carried a bouquet of daisies with springer. Miss Janice E. Mies. Raleigh.

N. C., was maid of honor. Mrs. Dennis Robbins, of Worcester. Mass., was matron of honor. Miss M. Catherine Dix, Winston Salem, and M.ss Marilyn K. Kane, sister of the groom, served as bride-maids. They wore identical gowns of ol’l'fashioned cotton print with rows of delicately stemmed deep orchid loses on a light orchid background entwined with green ferns. The gowns featured high necklines and long puffed skeves with wide cuffs. Ribbed cotton ribbon bows with fresh flowers were worn in their hair. Their wicker baskets were filled with fems and various shad’s of orchid chrysanthemums. Flower girl was Miss Julia Anr na Link, of Charlotte, N. C., and her gown was fashioned after that of the other attendants. She carried a basket of rose petals. Best man was the brother of the groom, Larry J. Kane, of Bloomington. Ushers were Charles C. Havener, brother of the bride; Thomas Tripp and Gregory D. Yates. At ter a trip to Carolina Beach the couple is living at the head resident counselor's apartment in Owen Hall in Raleigh. 4-H NEWS The Lincoln Twp. 4-H Entomology group, under the direction of Mr. Craig Houser, has con^f pk ted six weeks of study as of May 10 The classes which were held every Monday since April 2, have <hed some light on the knowledge of insects to the 4,«H members who have taken the course. The member has been introduced to the wide world of insects through audio visual aids and labs. Through the various types of research materials the member has participated in learning how to comprehend facts and data concerning the stages and growth of the insect. We hope that the training that each member has had will encourage them to develop their skills of Entomology a little better. These are
