Robert L. Whitenack, former pastor of St. John’s Lutheran Church. North Liberty, from
1954-1957, is observing the 20th anniversary of his Ordination to the Gospel Ministry. He is being honored by his present congregation. Antioch Lutheran Church, of H \ gland, Indiana, with a service of Thanksgiving and an Open House reception on Sunday, May 6, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. A special invitation has been extended to all the members and friends of his previous congregations to visit with Pastor and Mrs. Whitenack and their fam.ly at this reception. Anyone washing to send greetings to the Whitenacks may please contact the Umbaughs at 23730 Kern Rd., South Bind. Pastor Whitenack is a graduate of Whittenberg University, Springfield, Ohio. He received his Masters degree in Theology from the Lutheran School of Theology at Chicago. He and his wife, Donna, came to St. John's as their second parish. Their daughter, Marie Adell, now 16, was born during their ministry at St. John’s. The Whitenack’s son, David, is now a freshman at Wittenberg. It would bring great joy to the Whdenacks if many of their friends could visit with them in the Name of Christ on Sunday afternoon. May 6. Hoagland is located just south of Ft.
