Married Norton - Welch Marriage vow's were exchanged between Miss Beverly Ann Welch and Donald Lee Norton in the Trinity United Methodist Church, Plymouth, on September 30. Rev. William Nangle performed the double ring ceremony before an altar decorated with multi-color-ed mums. Mrs. David Lawrence, Walkerton, was the organist. Attending the bride as matron of honor was Mrs. Roger Baughman. Her gown was green with a sheer white overlay printed with multi-colored butterflies. The bridesmaids were the Misses Sharon McAdams, aunt of the bride, and Sandy and Carol Welch, sisters of the bride. Their dresses were identical to the matron’s except that they were blue, pink and yellow sheaths, respectively. Their headpieces were star flowers with ribbon streamers, and they carried bouquets of white roses with baby’s breath tinted to match their gowns. Miss Patti Welch, in lavender dress, was the flower girl. Master Fred Bedford carried the rings. Seven tiers of lace formed the skirt and cathedral train of the bridal gown. The high-necked fitted bodice of lace featured pearl trim and long, bridal-pointed sleeves. Her ballerina veil was held by a cluster of lace petals. . The bride carried a crescent bouquet of white roses and orchids. Roger Baughman acted as best man, while groomsmen and ushers were Kent Arnsberger, Dave Naragon and Rich Spencer. A reception in the church social rooms followed the ceremony. The new Mrs. Norton is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Leland Welch, of Walkerton. Her husband is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Donald R. Norton, North Liberty, and is employed by Corl Corporation. Both are graduates of John ( Glenn High School.
