Lighted tapers in hurricane lamps decorated with purple, lavender and white flowers tied with white satin bows marked the aisle pews. The altar was decorated with baskets of lavender gladioli
with purple and white football mums. The Rev. Edward Koehneke officiated at the double ring ceremony at 7:30 p.m. Mrs. Norman Beem was soloist accompanied by Mrs. Koehneke at the organ. The bride is the daughter of Mrs. Rosemary Feiner, Koontz Lake, and John Feiner, Walkerton. Parents of the bridegroom are Mr. ad Mrs. James F. Schroff Sr., 1369 Federal Avenue, LaPorte. Given in marriage by her father, Lhe bride was lovely wearing a sheer white organza gown in an empire style with a ring collar, full bishop sleeves with bridal points and a slim A-line skirt. Her cathedral length train was caught at the back waist. Chantilly lace and seed pearls accented the front bodice. Her cathedral length veil of imported silk illusion was held to a lace petal headpiece encrusted with sequins and crystals. She carried a cascade bouquet of white sweetheart roses, lilly of the valley and baby s breath with white streamers. Mis. James I ermmion, Hamlet, served her sister as matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Mrs. Gel aid Beem, Plymouth, sister of the bride, Mrs. Dennis Barber. Laporte, sister of the bridegroom, and Miss Lusia Szczesniak, Hobart. | * f They were dressed alike in lavender chiffon gowns in an empire style with ring collars and sheer Bishop sleeves accented with ruffled cuffs. Ruffled edging trimmed the bodices to top their narrow' A-line skirts. They w'ore matching flat velvet bows to hold their shoulder length veils. They each carried a lighted candle circled with miniature purple, lavender and white carnations with baby’s breath and long white streamers. Little Stephanie Beem, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Beem, Plymouth, niece of the bride, was flower girl dressed in a miniature to the other attendants. She carried a basket of white, lavender and purple carnations. Her cou-
sin, Steve Beem, son of Mr. and Mrs. Norman Beem, Hamlet, carried the rings on a heart shaped satin pillow. Jay Miller, LaPorte, served as best man. Groomsmen were Dennis Barber, brother-in-law to the bridegroom; George Stanback and Ray Davis, LaPorte. Seating the guests weic Dan Malec and Steve Malec, LaPorte. A reception immediately followed the ceremonies at the American Legion post home at Hamlet where 500 guests were served a buffet supper. A bridal ornament was between two tiers of the five tiered wedding caketopped with entwined wedding rings and a white dove. Mrs. Walter Malec, LaPorte, an aunt of the bridegroom, cut and served the cake. Miss Chris Izdepski, LaPaz, cousin of the bride, was in charge of the guest book. Mrs. William Flaugher was assisted to serve the dinner by Miss Pam Radloff
