Last week callers of Mrs. Bertha Schrader included Mrs. Harvey Schapp and Becky, of Dayton, Ohio, Mrs. Willard Knepp, Mrs. Mildred Clingenpeel, Mr. and Mrs. ! Harold Geyer, Mrs. Joe Vargo, of South Bend and Mr. and Mrs. John Miller, of New Road. Mrs. Fred Sheneman remains in the E Street Division Hospital, LaPorte, where she has been making satisfactory recovery. Mrs. Sheneman will be having a birthday on Sunday, July 16, and visitors and cards would be appreciated. Mrs. Norma Gensinger, of Walkerton, was a Thursday dinner guest of Mr. and Mrs. M. L. Clark. In the afternoon they visited Mrs. Cora Goon and Mrs. Dorothy Culp. Mrs. Quon is an 1 aunt of Mr. Clark and * she will have her 100th birthday in August.

David Donathen, pf Chicago, called on his grandmother, Mrs. Myrtle Donathen, on Saturday. Mis, Inman Whitmer was hostess to the Charles Naragon family reunion at North Liberty Park on Sunday, July 9. Mrs. Gene Parmley, is a patient in the Pine Lake Division hospital, LaPorte, room 107. He is in for observation. Mr. and Mis. Russen sirycker, of Osceola, and Mr. and Mrs. Walter Taylor on July 4. Mr. and Mrs. Lee Crawford and Mrs. J. C. Milner were Sunday dinner guests of the Claude Shenemans. Mr. and Mrs. Donald Kane and family and Mrs. Eldon Kane were camping at Tippecanoe over the week end. * Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Walsh and Michael and Pat, of Decatur, Georgia, spent from Friday to Monday with Mrs. Millard Ross, mother of Mrs. Walsh. Mr. and Mrs. Leslie Foreman and David have returned home after visiting friends and relatives in Minnesota and North Dakota. Mr. and Mrs. Don McDaniel and son Stewart returned to their home yn Ossining, New York, after visiting Mrs. E. P. McDaniel, Mr. and Mrs. David Spellman, Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Sheneman. Renita, Jeanine and Philip McDaniel remained fcr a longer visit with their relatives. Dr. and Mrs. Eric Clark, of Plainfield spent the week end visiting their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Warren Baughman, of Pine Road, and Mr. and Mrs. Robert Clark, of North Liberty. On Sunday, Mrs. Clark was the honored guest at a stork shower given by Mrs. Tim Baughman and Mrs. Larry Braner. of South Bend with 23 guests present.
