Church Jack A. Burbridge will speak at the Koontz Lake Missionary church cn Thursday, June 15, at 7:00 p.m. This former criminal had served in prision 1 before an
early parole in 1971 and for the past year has told his story to over 65,000 young people throughout the United States and Canada plus many TV and \ .dio appearances. Appearing on the program with him will be the duet of Marilyn F< rd and Ruth Benson, "The Sounds ot a New Life.” These two young ladies sing Country Gospel Music. There will he a rap session in the church basement following the service for all teens. FATHER - SON BANQUET AT METHODIST CHFRC H The Walkerton United Methodist Church will have a Father and Son Banquet on Wednesday, June 14th, at 6:30 p.m. in the John Glenn High School Auditorium. The Reverand Reginald Alford of the Simpson United Methodist Church, Elkhart, will present the program. He will tell of his experiences on the "Wandering Wheels Coast-to-coast Bicycle Trip of 1971.” Rev. Alford has been a bicycle enthusia.-t for about ten years and has traveled about 30,000 miles on a bike. This summer he will be directing a United Methodist Bike Camp for seniorhigh boys. Thi group will travel 450 miles up into Michigan and will end the trip at the Walkerton I nib 1 Methodist Chyrch on August sth.
