Mrs. Grace Atwood came home from the hospital Wednesday and will welcome any callers in hex home on Roosevelt Road. Mr. and Mrs. Harry Masterman were Sunday guests of Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Heckman of Nappannee. Mr. and Mrs. John Guttman came home last week from three weeks stay in Sheridan with Mr. and Mrs. James Guttman and family and Dr. and Mrs. James Griffith. Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Baker and family were Saturday afternoon and evening guests of his parents Mr. and Mrs. Everett Baker and to see the parade Saturday afternoon.

This is a group of young ' people consisting of 15 members and give their program in many places.
Rev. and Mrs. John Goodpasture were in Gary Sunday guests of Mr. and Mrs. Y. B. Elisha. Mrs. Grendaline Spurlock from Bethel Park, Pennsylvania was a guest from Thursday to Monday of Mr. and Mrs. A. G. Hunt. Guests this Wednesday of Mrs. Fern Grote was her daughter Mrs. Floyd Bradford Jeff and Shard of Silver Lake Indiana. Dr. and Mrs. V. B. Wolfe of Sebring Florida and Mr. and Mrs. Glen Walz were dinner guests of Mrs. Fern Grote last Wednesday. Miss Beverly Young and Mr. James R. Clark of Dyer Indiana were week end guests in the home of Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Baker and family. Sunday visitors of Mrs. Martha Young were her son Mac Young and daughters of Hobart, and her sister Mrs. Bertha Jungerman of Hobart. Mr. and Mrs. William E. Hardy of Niles Michigan visited Mr. and Mrs. Howard Fouts of Saturday of last week. Other visitors this past week were Mr. and Mrs. Orval Perry of North Liberty. Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Pfeiffer of South Holland, Illinois, and Gilbert Pfeiffer of Momence, Illinois were here last Wednesday to spend the day with their brother Mr. and Mrs. George Pfeiffer of Koontz Lake. The regular pot luck supper and social hour will be held this Saturday evening beginning at 5:30 p.m. and Mrs. Adelaide Flaherty and Mrs. Emma Ward will serve as hostesses for the evening for the Koontz Lake Conservation Club. Mr. Albert and Miss Dorothea Brenner were in Berrington, Illinois Saturday and Sunday visiting friends and aquaintiances. On Saturday evennig a surprise dinner was given for Mr. Brenner in the home of Mrs. Margaret Lindstrom with ten of his former co-workers of UARCO CO. of Berrington which was very much appreciated by the Brenners and was a very plesant evening with former friends. Dr. and Mrs. Cloyd Felix of Lehigh Acres, Flordia were weekend guests of Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Beaty. They traveled to Pemberville, Ohio on Sunday to attend the high school graduation exercises of Betty Ann and Coleen Lowrie, granddaughters of Mrs. Felix. Betty Ann Lowrie, as Senior Class President, gave the welcome for the one hundred thirtythree graduates who received diplomas. Dr. and Mrs. Felix remained in Ohio for a visit with relatives and friends and the Beatya returned Sunday evening. News of the death of Mrs. Ann Kemp of Lake Whales, Florida was received here the week before last. Mrs. Ann Kemp passed away on May 24th at Morrow Memorial Hospital in Auburndale, Florida. Burial was in Oak Hill Cemetery in Illinois and the Memorial services were from Drake Funeral Home in Park Ridge, Illinois. May 27th. Survivors are her husband, Mr. Louis Kemp, a son Leslie Milligan, Park Ridge, Illuois. One sister Mrs. -thel Ethel Simons, Youngstown. Ohio. Four step children Levi Kemp, Walkerton, Mrs. Leola Henderson, Indianapolis, Mrs. Stella VanderWende, Mishawaka, Mrs. Alta Lanham, Wilmette, Illinois, 13 grandchildren and one great grandchild. Miss Diane Young and Mr. Dirk A. Godsey of Dyer were visitors of Mr. and Mrs. Leland Fr ailey and daughter Ruth Friday evening. Guest in the Leland Frailey home Friday night were Miss Kathleen Tendall and Mr. Keith Hermanson of Lockpart, Illinois. Miss Tendall was the organist for Ruth Ann’s wedding Saturday. Miss Maxine Mullet, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Myron Mullet, route 1, Walkerton, has been initiated into Pt Lambda Theta, honor and professional organization fop women in education, at Indiana State University, Terra Haute.

Mrs. Lucille Ward spent several days last week in Fort Wayne visiting her cousin Miss Mildred Browman, and one day they were guests of Mr. and Mrs. Bob Bowman at Long Lake, Coldwater Michigan.
