The Darrell Steele family and Mrs. Edith Steele were Sunday dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Lairy Parsons at Niles, Michigan. Tammy Patrick, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gene Patrick accidently caught her finger in the viought iron post on the porch at the home of her grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Claude Sheneman last Saturday evening, severly damaging the end of her middle finger cutting off the end back to the joint. She was rushed to tne clinic in W’alkerton and then on to the E Street division hospita.l in LaPorte where, she was treated and released. She is rec ivering nicely at her home.

Miss Eleanor Bauder and brother Edgar Bauder, of Alberquerque, New Mexico were recent visitors of Mrs. Laura Fair. Mr. and Mrs. Harold Shafer, of Bremen and Mrs. Fred Biggs and daughter Bonnie were Sunday afternoon visitors of Mrs. Sterling Amm. Mr. and Mrs. Richard Williams and children of Carmel, Mrs. Otto Kurzhal and Mrs. Edna German were Sunday dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Guy Kizek and family. Mr. and Mrs. Ray Harris have returned to their home in Union City, California after spending a week with Mrs. William Jones, Sr. of North Liberty. Mrs. Esther Harman has returned home from Memorial hospital, South Bend. Sire enjoyed the cards and the visits during her stay in the hospital Mrs. Neva Lichtenbarger of Beamont, California will be the guest of Mr. and Mrs. Arno Reed in North Liberty for several weeks. Anyone wishing to visit her will be welcome at the Reed's home. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Sims, Sr., Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Savoie and family, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Sims, Jr. and family and Mr. and Mrs. Gene Parmley and Craig all of North Liberty and Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Renz and family of Walkerton recently attended the graduation and open house of Miss Barbara Workman at Kempton, Indiana.
