Fourth Os July Committee Makes Further Plans The North Liberty Fourth of July committee met at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Steele on May 26 to discuss plans for the upcoming event with plans being discussed as to a theme for the parade and decoration and that the merchants will be judged for best window decorations. Concessions at the park that have been signed thus far are kiddie rides, PTA fun booth, cotton candy, Tri Kappa bozo tank,

Trophies and ribbons have been chosen and are being ordered by the co-chairman, Lorraine Perkins and Donna Steele. Mr. Steele reported that the fund raising project is going well and much support is needed to make this a success. Sixteen parade entrants have been accepted. DEBRA MATZ GRADUATES WITH HONORS Miss Debra Matz, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George L. (Slats) Matzos Moline, Illinois, formei residents of Walkerton is among the 821 graduating class of Moline Senior High of 1972. Miss Matz graduated with honors and received a gold tassle. She plans to enter Blackhawk College in Moline this fall. Miss Matz is presently employed at Snelling and Snelling in Moline. Mr George A. Matz, Mr. and Mrs. E<! Klopenstein and Donna wen Memorial week end visitors in the Matz home. Safety first does make sense!
