Awards Day Held At Urey The Urey Middle School Awards 1 iy was held on Thursday. May Is’ at the school in Walkerton. Many awards were presented at t is time to the students as fallows. The Harold C. Urey all around student awards were presented to Jams McGee and John Sheaks in the eight grade; Jdl Northam and Lory Stull in the seventh grade and Shelia Shelly and Tim Koehln were presented the awards in tt.e sixth grade. Awards presented to the Outstanding Eight Grade students in tach subject area were as follows. Ait award was presented to Ken Rahrer; John Hartsough won the hind award; Donna Moore the english award; Teresa Sarber received the home economics award and John Sheaks the industrial arts award. Herald Hostetler was presented the French award; Jackie Holm the social studies awaid and the math award went t Michael Graves along with the music award being presented t Edwin Fenstermacher; John Sneaks received the boy’s physical education award; Jackie Holm the girl’s physical education award t on Teresa Sarber received the science award. The Tri Kappa awards were presented by Mrs. William Carter ftom the Epsilon Chi chapter of Tri Kappa. Walkerton, to Teresa Sarber and John Sheaks. The DAK Good Citizenship Awards were presented to Donna Moore and Edwin Fenstermacher.
