ter No. 319, is the daughter of a past Worthy Grand Matron, Mrs. Ray (Christine) Obery and Mr. Oberly, of Bremen. She served as her mother’s page at Grand Chapter when Mrs. Oberly was installed as Worthy Grand Matron in 1968. The new deputy will be responsible for the profiency in their ritualistic work of the 26 chapters in the 20th district. Her appointment reflects an honor on her local chapter. North Liberty Begins Plans For 4th Celebration Plans are (underway for the biggest and best 4th of July celebration ever to be staged in North Liberty. Parade chairman, Lorraine Perkins, and co-chairman, Donna Steele, have begun contacting prospective parade entrants and have received promising responses. Other committee chairman are Park Concessions, John Peddycord; Fund Raising Project, Clyde Steele; Fireworks, John Gouker; Queen Contest, Carol Peddycord and Tri Kappa Sorority; Store Decoration, Joyce Knepp; Parade Lineup, Judy Loucks; and Publicity, Jene Campbell. Contribution letters have been sent to North Liberty Merchants asking their help in raising money to finance the festivities. Contribution canisters will appear later for everyone to donate who wishes to help make this a bigger and better event. In addition to contributions, a fund raising project is being undertaken by Mr. Steele and his
