Air. and Airs. Waiter J. Strope of North Liberty will observe their 50th wedding anniversary with an open house at the Community Building in North Liberty on Sunday. May 7 from 2 to 5 p.m. for relatives and friends. Tiie couple was married on May 6. 1922 at the parsonage of the Star Weselyan Alethodist Church near North Liberty. They have four children, Robert D. Strope of South Bend, Mrs. G. W. Worley (Kathleen) and William H. Strope both of Bolivar, Tenn., and Lt. ig Larry G. Strope serving with the Navy in Spain. They have eight grandchildren
