Miss Lana Kay Waldron and William K. Jennings were ed in marriage on March 5, - in a 7 p.m. candlelight coreay. Rev. Theodore Forbes formed the double-ring cereny which took place in the 4 Christian Church, 130 East shington Street, lonia, MichiThe bride is the daughter Mr. and Mrs. Phillip Waldron, of Walkerton and the groom the son of Mr. and Mrs. Kenh W. Jennings, 640 West shington, lonia, Michigan, rhe bride wore a floor length te gown of taffeta with chany lace trimmed with seed tri flowers. She carried a iquet of orchid cushion mums I white sweetheart roses. The de was given in marriage by r father. Mrs. Allen Eddinger Walkerton served as the ide’s matron of honor. She re a floor length gown of hid chiffon over taffeta trim•d with purple velvet. The dice was trimmed in white e and tiny purple buttons, e carried a bouquet of white eetheart roses and orchid cushi mums. Mr. Douglas Brown, lonia, Michigan, friend of the «m, served as the groomsman, hers were Mike Dean of lonia, chigan and Craig Waldron of dkerton, brother of the bride. A reception was held immedely following the ceremony in Church basement which was orated in the bride's colors orchid and white. Debra ddron, sister of the bride, k care of the guest book.

I Mrs. Brad Counter, sister of the bride, cut the 3 tiered wedding cake which was also decorated in the bride’s colors. Mrs. Philip Waldron, Sr. of lonia, Michigan poured the coffee and Mrs. Jack Wallace of Walkerton served the punch, both are grandmothers of the b r ’de. Following a short trip to Kentucky, the couple will reside at 321’0 West Main, lonia, Michigan. Cash Bonanza Added To Horse Show June 4 A cash bonanza has been added to the fifth annual Walkerton Festival open class horse show to take place Sunday, June 4 at the Walkerton Place Park. Sponsored by the Lincoln township 4-H club, the advisory committee placed a SSO (fifty) open pleasure stake class to the usual show bill with SSO to be paid back to 10 places in addition to the usual 80 per cent pay back. Also, another bonus added to the purse is 25 awarded the top four winners of the openbarrels. The new additions were made at a meeting recently at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Malstaff. Co-chairman of the horse show are Don Wray and Mr. Malstaff. In other business, Jim Reinholt of near Winamac was contracted as judge for the show. Approved buckskin classes will also take place for those who
