She carried a noesgay bouquet of pink daisies and also wore a white picture hat trimmed with pink ribbon and pmk daisies to match her noesgay. The bridesmaids were Mias Debbie Groves sister of the groom and Mrs. John Vandal], both of Walkerton. They wore identical yellow flocked nylon gowns over taffeta, made like the matron of honor's. They caried nosegays of yellow daisies and also wore white picture hats trimmed with yellow ribbons and yellow daisies to match their nosegays.
The bride entered the church on the arm of her father, and was attired in the white silk organza over bridal satin gown. It was made with an empire waistlnie and with a high neck trimmed with lace The gown was trimmed with a deep rutfle at the bottom, which also formed a short tram and was also trimmed with lace like the neckline. Her fingertip mantilla was trimmed in lace to match her wedding gown Her bouquet was of white daisies and pink rosebuds. The best man was Mr. Mark Groves, of Walkerton, brother of the groom. The groomsmen were Roger Stull of Walkerton and Hugh Geren, of LaPorte. Ushers for the wedding were Mr. Phillip Harris of South Bend, and Mr. Chalies Harris of Elkhart, both brothers of the bride. Billy and Paul Groves, of Walkerton, brothers of the groom, were in charge of the gifts. Miss Susan Ketcham, of South Bend, cousin of the bride, was in charge of the guest book. A reception waa held in the social rooms of the church immediately following the wedding. Miss Linda Bouse, Mrs. Robert Schaeffer and Mrs. Asa Clevenger, of Walkerton, and Mrs. Hugh Geren, of LaPorte, were in charge of refreshments. The new Mrs. Groves is a 1969 graduate of John Glenn High School and is employed as a service representative for Indiana Bell Telephone Co. in South Bend. Mr. Groves is also a 1969 graduate of John Glenn High School and is employed by Bethlehem Steel Co. in the Metalurgical De- ' partment in the Burns Harbor i Plant. Chris Dreessen and Jeff Henry completed requirments for their Bobcat pins and wore welcomed into the pack. Others earning awards were Jeff White, denner; Brian Parker, gold and silver arrow; Scott Lowry and Bruce Larrimore, assistant denner.
