All organizations and clubs desiring a concession or any moneymaking project during the Summer 1- estival should contact Don Ludwig or Ervin Stuntz for reservations as soon as possible since the deadline is April 1. A reservation fee of $25.00 is payable betore the opening of the Walkerton Summer Festival on June 1. In order to help support the Festival the Chamber is also having a Chicken Fry on April 7. The Tyner Odd Fellows Lodge will prepare the chicken. The Clean-Up. Fix-Up Contest entry should include a picture of the before and after. FASHION SHOW APRIL 13 IS 4-H BENEFIT Intermission entertainment, prizes galore and a delicious salad bar, are additional features to the 12th annual fabric and fashion show of the Better Homes Extension Club on Thursday, April 13, at John Glenn High School auditorium, according to Mrs. Branson Hiatt, club president and general chairman. The Levine's Boston Store, of LaPorte, have provided the fabrics for more than 55 garments for both sexes. Tickets are SI.OO from any club member or at the door for this 8:00 p.m. performance. Members are reminded to turn in their door prizes and models are reminded of show practice Tuesday night. April 11, at the school at 7:00 p.m. RUTH FELLOWSHIP MEETS The Ruth Fellowship of the United Methodist Church held its March meeting i n the home of Mrs. Millie Daniels with eleven members present. Guests were Mrs. Jacie Radmacher, Mrs. Clyde Wake, Mrs. W’ayne Cover, Miss Linda Huhnke, Mrs. Helen Smith, Mrs. Velma Stahley and Mrs. Grace Atwood. Mrs. Mary Jane Beaty chairman led the fellowship in their business meeting, several upcoming events were discussed. Easter cards were signed by everyone and sent to the members of the circle a lesson on drugs was presented by Mrs. Marion Chapman. Devotions were given by Mrs. Cheryl Rizek. Refreshments were served by the hostess Mrs. Millie Daniels.
