The tables were decorated in keeping with Valentine with a special valentine at each place. Mrs. Robert Candler, Worthy Matron of Walkerton Chapter 319, Order of Eastern Star was a special guest, Mr. Willard Place presided in : the absence of the president. Mrs. John McCombs. Mrs. George Hillis received thfc attendance gift. A memorial tribute for two numbers, Mrs. Stanley Orcutt and Anna Bose was given by Mrs, Place. A tenative date, March 21 was voted for the meeting. A carry-in dinner at the Temple followed by initiation ceremony given to Mrs. Candler. Miss Dorthca Brenner and Mrs. Art Gro<.e wilt be hostesses. Following the meeting of Tuesday evening fun games was enjoyed with almost every one present receiping a prize. SURPRISE SHOWER GIVEN Little Miss Katie Ruth Jacob and her mother Mrs. Glenn Jacob w er e surprised Sunday afternoon in the home of Mrs. Alfred Drew.-, RR 3, Plymouth, with a baby shower. Ldtle Katie, bom December 10, 1971 was the top most attraction while her mother opened the many pretty packages of little girls frilly fashions. Contest prize winners were Mrs. David Drews, Mrs. Hal Muncie and Mrs. Wilbur Mullet. AssUting Mrs. Drew^ as hostess was her daughter, Mrs. Gary’ Clark, Walkerton. Refreshments were served from a table centered with a doll and a tea table covered with a cloth inscribed "Katie'' on it. BRIDAL SHOWER GIVEN SUNDAY Mrs. Ed Dayman yr. and Mrs. Leßoy Carey of Michigan City entertained for Jan Hershberger u<th a bridal shower on Sunday, March 5 at the Hershberger home. Guest were from Michigan City, Lake of the Woods, Plymouth, LaPorte and Walkerton. Lilac and white, Jans chosen ootora, were used and she received many lovely gifts. Miss Hershberger and Jack Berrier of Plymouth will be married later this month.
