Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Fitzgerald were in Plymouth Sundry afternoon calling on Mrs. Mary Gardnt r who was a former Walkerton resident. Mr. and Mrs. Waldo Hoover and Mr. Joe Kaznuercak of Magician Lake, Dowagiac, Mich, were Saturday evening dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Dale Ullery. The Oregon Towmhp Home Ec Club will meet February Bth. (Tuesday) for their luncheon at 12:00 CST m the horn© of Mrs. Roy Newell, • | Mr. and Mm Marion Anderson entertained Sunday in their home to celebrate th birthday of thir daugher Mrs. Norman Beagks Guest present to enjoy the day were Mr. and Mm Raymond Beagles, Mrs. Roy Milter. Mr. and Mrs. Norman Beagles and family, Mr. and Mrs. Roger Hellinga and family of Middlebury and Mr. and Mrs. Dale Duuthett of Three Oaks, Michigan. Mr. and Mrs. Carl Delaney of Lafayette were week end guests of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Knowlton and son. On Saturday the group and Mr. and Mrs. David Knowlton and daughter. Mr. and Mrs. David Drrws and son went to North Liberty to the home of Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Knowlton and daughters where the twin daughters were ct lebrating on their sth birthday. Mrs. Barbara Becker, Auburn, Indiana, spent the weekend with her mother. Mrs Willard Place. Mrs. Ruby Jimmemon of North Liberty had plenty of moral support when nine of her 12 children accompanied her to ' Bellefontaine, Ohio for the funeral of her brother, Homer Arnett. She was accompanied by six sons, Mr. and Mm Ed Cole and Mr. and Mrs. Rus ell Jimerson of Walkerton; Mr. Clyde Cole of South Bend, Mr. Vance Cole of Osceola; Mr. Don Jimerson Jr. of Hamlet and Wayne Jimenon of North Lberty; three daughters, Mrs. Virgie Eaton of Walkerton; Mrs. Stelle Thomas of Knox and Donna Jimmerson of North Liberty.

Week end house guests of Mrs. Helen Smith of Koontz Lake were Mr. and Mrs. Michael Gentile and family of Lombard, 111. Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Smith and fam ly of Crestwood. Illinois, and Mr. and Mrs. Albert Vandermar and daughters of Richmond, Indiana. Part of the gioup spent a day in Michigan f Wing and some of them went ice skating on Koontz Lake. Mra. Ruth Gerry and Mrs. Ruth Brehms will be hostesses for the Koontz Lake Conervation Club pot luck supper this Saturday evening beginning at 5:30 CST at the Club house. A social hour follows the supper and its a nice place for members and gue^t to spend their Saturday evening. ,» Mr. and Mrs. Donald Tollessen and daughters were here from Cicero, Illinois Sunday to spend the day with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Evar Peterson of Koontz Like and to celebrate tht 13th birthday of one of the daughters. YORKTOWN HOME EC CLI B MEETS The first meeting of the New Year was held at the home of Mrs. Joseph Lowry w.th 12 members' answering roll call with their birthday month. Mrs. Jim Bolze was the co-hoste-ss. Mrs. June Wiegand gave a lesson on decopoge. The hostess and cohostess prizes went to Mrs. Marvin Williams. Refreshments were served. The next meet‘ng will be held on Fbruary 12 at Schorl’s Restaurant in Plymouth, honoring the club members husbands with a Valentine Party.
