Mrs. Kay L. Carbiener has been transferred from Pine Lake Div. hospital Laporte to Pilgrim Manor in Plymouth. Dwight Steinke is still a patient in Our Lady of Mercy Hospital at Dyer in serious condition. Mrs. Dewey Lowry is nursing a broken right wrist which is the result of a fall in her home last week. She is getting along very well with the help of her friends and relatives for which she is very grateful. M r . and Mrs. David Miller and family of Union, Michigan were visitors Staurday with Mr. and Mrs. Delbert Jacobs and family. Mr, and Mrs. John Guttman and Mrs Bertha Urbin were in Wakaru.<a Sunday to attend the Annual Northwood High School Choir Concert in which John Robert and Elizabeth Guttman, grandchildren, were members’ The concert was given in their new auditotium and there were almost 400 in the choir. They were accompanied by Mrs. Wyman of Wakarusa on the pipe oigan presented to the new auditorium and directed by Mr. Heckman, mupic instructor.

Mrs. Norris Bussia, Beaver Dam, Wiconsn, spent lust week end with her parents, Mi-, and Mrs. A. G. Hunt, of Walkerton. The memlers had dinner at LaPorte then were entertained in Mrs. Brede’s home for bridge with Christmas decoration^ to make the evening gay and joyful.
