The Junior II and Junior 111 Sunday School classes of the Presbyterian church were treated Saturday evening by their teachers Mrs. Eugene Kerchaert and Mrs. Norman Hostetler with a -upper at the church at 5.00 o’clock. After supper they were •taken in a Lus to the Shrine Cir. cus in South Bend accompanied by Mi. and Mrs. Kerchaert and M’ and Mrs. Ho-tetler and the sup.rintendent of the Sunday Sch >ol Mr. and Mrs. Harold Eddinger. Walkerton, North Liberty High School graduate, ipani-h major, was one of the 270 Valparaiso University students reconized for academic achievemi.nt at the president’s reception held on Novembr 30 in Christ College refectory. Students relieving this honor have earned a grade average of 2.5 points or better under a 3.0 sy tem dinning the semester. DORCAS CIRCLE MEETS The Dorcas circle of St. John's Lutheran church met recently with Mrs. Ida Kurzhai with devotions by Mrs. Kurt Luxnat. Th y voted on a Thanksgiving supper November 28 at 6:00 p.m. wAh family bring a talad or dessert. Also December 19 there will be the Christmas supper and a farewell for R- v. and Mrs. Curtis and daughters. Lisa and Laura, as they w.H be leaving December 31 for Mt.
