Mrs. George Hillis returned recently from a ten day trip to visit friends in North.' Wales, Pa., and Flemington, New Jersey. Thank giving d’nner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Jack Ryan and family were Mr. and Mr*. Wayne Burch and Mr. and Mrs. Robert Urbin. Mr. and Mrs, Charl s Wynn and Mr. and Mrs. Charles Bellinger spent Thanksgiving with Mr. and Mrs. William Bellinger in North Manchester. Mr. and Mrs. Pat MeNorton and daughter Brenda, of Evanston, Illinois, were supper gm sts on Thanksgiving of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Mac MeNorton and his grandmother, Mrs. Fred Myers. Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Gouker Sr., of North Liberty, were the guests at a dinner given in their honor Sunday, November 21 in the home of their daughter and son-in-law. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Pontius and family of Walkerton. Other guests were Mr. and Mrs. Frank Ginzer and daughters, Mrs. John Gouker and family, Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Gouker Jr. and family, Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Gouker and family, Mr. and Mrs. Dwayne Gouker and Mrs. Matel Won ter, all of North Liberty. Mr. and Mrs. Gouker left then on Monday for Corpus Christi, Texas, where they .-pend the winter months. Guest of Mr. and Mrs. David Knowlton and daughter Michelle on Sunday evening, November 21, to celebrate the first birthday of Michelle were Mr. and Mns. Earl Loehr and sons, Ruh Springs, Oklahoma; Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Knowlton and daughters of North Liberty; Mr. and Mrs. David Drews and son Kelly; Mr. and Mrs. Gene Lute and daughters, Mr. and Mrs. Don Nowatzke and sons., Mr. and Roy Williams and Mr. and Mrs. Harold Knowlton and Gene, Ice cream and cake was served. Michelle received lots of birthday presents.
