My. and Mrs. Earl Hartsock, of Ray, North Dakota, spent the week end with Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Sickley and family. The Stiokieys celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary Sunday afternoon at the Community building with 100 people at ending. Guests came from South B nd, Mishawaka, LaForte, Ft. Wayne, North Liberty, Plymouth, Chesterton, Kingabury, Gro vertown and- Walkerton. A buffet supper was served in the even,ng for the families. Many beautiful and useful gifts were received. Mrs. W. V. Valentine, of Indianapolis, was a guest of her mother, Mrs. Oscar Barney, from Thursday to Monday. She < ame Lecause of the serious illress of Mrs. Barney’s son-‘n law, ft ibej-t Holland, of South Bend, who underwent surgery in Memorial hospital, Mr. Holland is well known in the Walkerton area.

Me played many games, had a treasure hunt and bobbed for apples. Everyone had a good time.
