Mr. Bl.id had gone fish ng at 4:00 pm. on Lake Griff n Leesbu g, where he suffered an apparent heart a lack in his b iat and fell into the w’ater and drowned. His body was di cow d by another fisherman shortly before 7.00 pm. Mi. Bl ill was a retired farmer and had lived in the Noiuh LiL erty-South Bend area most of his life. H was born May 16, 1907 in Gr ivertown, and married Helen B. Gray on April 14, 1932. in Valparaiso. She survives, along with three sons, Donald L, of North Liberty; Russell W., of New Carli-le; and Kennc h. of L iwrenceville Ill.; two daughters. Mrs. Lewis Cady and Mrs. Harold Olson, both of LaPorte; 19 grandch Id en; and three brothers Martin E. and Willaid E.. both of South Bend, and M 1vin A., of Osceola. Ah > surviving are two sisters. Mrs. Lorraine Wildey and Miss E tine Bad, both of Soulh Bend. Services were hJd at 2:00 p.m, Monday in the Bethany Lutheran Church with Rev. Fred Feidler, pastor, officiating.
