Arriving at Cyprus at 2.30 a.m. was to have a 3 hour wait but the plane wasn't work.ng so we waited until 9 a.m. when they got another plane and we xvent on co Jerusalem. In the evening Dr. Billy Janies Hargis, director of the lour, gave a very interesting talk about places we were to visit. Sun-ay morning we walked to the tomb of Chr.st where a ‘very impressive communion service was held by Dr. Hargis before we went silently single file own the step to and inSide the tomb one at a time. We were then taken to the Mt. of Th exes and looki-d over the city of Jerusalem seeing the Golden Ga\e and many other important places. The s.one wall is around Old Jerusalem. In the garden of Gethsemane there are olive trees 3,000 years old still bearing fruit. We went in the church that has the 10 Commandments in all languages. We saw where Moses looked into the promised land. On Tuesday we left for Jerico

Sanders and I took a taxi to Bethlehem and visited 'che Holy Land Cnristian Mission. An Ameriran nurse showed us around the place. D.C. and then changed airports to come to South Bend arriving at 8:25 p.m. August 23. The end of a wonderful trip. New Books At Public Library We have enjoyed the paper back books at the Walkerton Public Library because they provide so much variety in selection of books than we could have on a Hinted budget. Many people have asked if they could give paper back or other books in good con lit ion to the library. The answer is Yes. We are giad to make that much more reading available to our patrons.
