Mrs William Michalski and Mrs. L J Ward will be the hostesses for the pot luck supper of the Koontz Lake Conservation Club on Saturday at 5:30 pm CST at the clubhouse. Enterta.nment to follow. Mrs Delbert Whitaker entertained last Tuesday evening to celebrate the birthday of Mr. Whitaker. Present were Mr. and Mrs. Agnew Ludwig Steve and David; Mr. and Mrs William Clark and Miss Karen Whitaker. Birthday cake and ice cream was enjoyed. Mrs George Hillis accompanied Mr. and Mrs. J O Peterson of Menomonee Falls. Wisconsin, to Negaunee. Michigan for the Thanksgiving weak end where they were vests of Mr. and Mrs. Gary Talo and son Mrs. Talo is the niece of Mrs. Hillis. All spent the days snowmobiling The Indiana State University chapter of Alpha Lambda Delta, national scholastic honor society for freshman women held initiation on Sunday in ceremonies on campus. Maxine Mullet, route 1 Walkerton, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Myron Mullet, was among the new members. Dave and Ray's Supermarkets, Walkerton. Koontz Lake and Plymouth. joined together for their annual Christmas Party on Monday evening at the Plymouth Country Club. There were approximately 150 employees and guests present to enjoy a wonderful banquet prepared for them. The tables were decorated in the Christmas music. A gift exchange was enjoyed followed by dancing for the rest of the evening. A good time was had by all with Best Wishes for a Merry Christinas.

Mr. and Mrs. Paul Tebay of Pasco. Washington, arrived for a visit at the home of Mrs Tebay s parents. Mr. and Mrs. Gail Groves.. They were also guests of Larry Groves and family where a family gathering was held on Saturday night List Saturday, Kim Rlzek. 7. daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jack Rizek. Walkerton, was the recipient of two prizes from Channel 9 TV. Sunday guests of Mr and Mrs. Cloyd Smith were Mr. and Mrs. Donald Crone, son and granddaughter. of Kenton.. Illinois. Sunday afternoon they went to St. Lukes Hospital in Chicago to visit Mr. and Mrs. Smiths son Ralph who is in ill. Mr. and Mrs Crone were former North Liberty residents. Mrs. Fayette Dunn returned home last week from a weeks visit in the eastern part of the nation She visited relatives in various places with her first stop beng at Martinsburg, West Virginia where she visited with Mrs. Raymond Dunn and family. She then went to visit Mr. and Mrs. Albert Jones in Rockville. Md. and her sister-in-law accompanied her there and then the Jones joined the two ladies to go to Silver Springs, Mary land on Sunday to attend the 50th wedding anniversary of Mr. and Mrs Fred Dunn. Karen Johnson, rural Walkerton, a student at Northwest Missouri State College, Maryville, Missouri, is on the gymnastic team and will be competing in the women's competion on Fri-

Nancy Chapman Among Hoosier Hosts At IU Nancy Chapman. 609 Washington Street, Walkerton, is among 50 Hoosier Hosts at Indiana University Hoosier Hosts, a joint program of the campus YWCA and YMCA, conduct free campus tours to visitors to the University's Bloomington campus. The volunteer student group conducts an average of 80 tour*

I each semester to prospective students, parents, alumni and other visitors. Usually an hour long, the tour includes a walking trip through the central campus during which YWCA-YMCA guides give information and history of buildings pointed out along tho way. Recently the YWCA-YMCA Hoosier Hosts committee began accepting commercial , tours.
