Arriving a bit early Mrs Haag was all ears as to any conversation going-on — thus she did arrive at some secrets things not meant for her ears but she immediately begin jotting down on paper, little things about many of the 48 guests present Being a retired school maim sho know how to make her lines rhyme so beaut ifully After the ribbing and compliments she presented in verse to members and guests she thrilled her audience with a few poems she had written, such as Older Age" and one especially apropos about "Mother Love Outside Your Window" Mrs. Haag and her husband reside on a farm outside of Walkerton. near the BlissviUe Church, spends much of her time expressing herself in reading writing, writing poetry and in beautiful oil paintings both large and smalll. Each talent reveals the beautiful character of this fine lady. The tables were fashioned with cornucopias filled with colorful fruit and vegetables. Candy corn

Vice president, Mrs. David Clark presided for the business meeting. She opened with a greeting and a poem "Thanksgiving Gratitude." A donation was made to the Adult Boosters Club, to aid in their program. $lO 00 was voted to buy socks for male patients at Beatty Hospital. to accompany gifts brought by members for the patients at Beatty's Christmas party.

Appointed on the nominating committee, to report at the Deo ember meeting xvere: Mrs. Jack Rizek. Mrs. Wayne Cover and Miss Linda Huhnke. Mrs. Willard Place was assured they would have turkey for Thanksgiving, following selling of tickets during the meeting. The new shipment of pecan meats are now available, at president Mrs. Amos Hunt and th.? home of Mrs. Harry Masterman, "Her Shop" down town or at the Ways and Moans chairman. The December meeting will be held December 17. A sl<so gift exchange will be in charge of the committee. Mis Russell Lawrenc received the door prize.
