The Koontz Lake Conservation club pot luck supper will be held Saturday evening at 5:30 EST. with Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Huneryager as hosts for the evening, followed by a social hour. Mrs. Richard Anderson Sr. attended a meeting of the Jan’s Ceramic class last Thursday afternoon in the home of Mrs T. C. Urbin in Kewanna. The class was active several years ago, but the members enjoyed a day together aga.n and an exchange of ideas and social time. Mr .and Mrs Orville Kiinedinst entertained the following supper guests Wednesday evening. Mr. and Mrs Chester Thayer of LaPaa, Mr and Mrs. Ira Pipptnger of near Plymouth, and Mr. and Mrs Dwight Pipp nger and Dick. The occasion was a farewell dinner for the Thayers who are leaving soon for Florida On Sunday afternoon Mr. and Mrs. Dwight McKesson. Mr and Mrs. Walter Hayter, Mr. and Mrs Arthur McKesson and Miss Mildred McKesson, all of Walkertno, and Mr. and Mrs. Donald Meyer of Hamlet were in New Carlisle to attend an open house held in the home of Mr. and Mrs. Dermot Meyer which was in celebrat.on of the Fiftieth wedding anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. Leslie Meyer.

Walkerton Halloween Costume Winners The Walkerton Jaycees sponsorers oi th; Town’s Halloween party and parade had good weather and a nice turn out of kids along with plenty of help from the various organizations in the community and area to make the event a big success The par ide b gan at 5 15 pm. from the Walkert >n Community Building with the Fire Dep irtment leading the wiy followed by the John Gicnn High School l and and then all the co turned Hallowc ners. The par ide ended at the Walkerton Elementary School where the children went inside to be judged in the four cat agones of ugliest, prettiest, most original and Halloween characters. Refreshments were served after the judging and a good time was had by all. The Jaycees would like to thank all the organizations that participated in the festivities.
