Mrs Gertrude Sheneman spent Sunday afternoon with Mrs. Helen Kessler at Fish Lake. Mrs. Myrtle Donathen celebrated her birthday Sunday, October 18 by having dinner with Mr. and Mrs Leland Donathen, Jim and Karen. Mr. and Mrs Dwight Perry, of Big Fork, Minn., arrived Sunday at the home of the former’s mother and brother, Mrs. Grace Perry and Donald Due to their illness, Mr. and Mrs. Perry will spend several weeks here. Miss Belle Smith. Miss Ruth Kelver, Mishawaka and Miss Madeline Graff, of Elkhart, called on Mr and Mrs Leland Donathen Sunday afternoon. Thursday. October 15, was Mrs. Bertha Schrader's birthday On that day, her brother, Harold Geyer and wife took her to her birthplace where she was born 85 years ago on Quinn Road on the farm of her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Lentz who had moved from Ohio and built the buildings and raised their family^ncludmg Mrs Schraders mother, the late Mrs. Will jam Geyer. The same house and main buildings are still there. Mr and Mrs John Kemble own the farm now and reside there. She was the supper guest of Mr. and Mrs. John Mille r of New Road. OUESTION? October 15, 21 Township 4-H Directors met at the First Christian Church in South Bend. The directors discussed ideas for bettering communications between 4-H'ers and non 4-H'ers, and improving public relations. Committees were formed to investigate different ideas.
