Mrs Grace Atwood W ikerton, is a medical patient in the Pine Lake Division Hospital in LaPorte. Mss Blanche Rensberger, of Santa Anna, California, is visiting her cousin. Illinois, and Mr. and Mrs. Marian Sharpe, of Ridgeville, Indiana. H i try Collins, a former resident of Walkerton, has been and is a patient in the veteran's hospital in Marion, Ind., since July. Mr. and Mrs Collins mov-. ed to South Bend several years ago after selling their farm on route 3, Walkerton.

Mrs. Fayette Dunn spent the week end in South Bend visiting her sister and brother-in-law. Mr. and Mrs Roscoe Dunnuck. Mrs. Roy Miller accompanied Mr md Mrs. Albert Burroughs of Plymouth, to Mulberry Sunday to visit Mr. and Mrs Alvin Conner.; In the afternoon they called on Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Connors Jr in Lafayette. Mrs May Richey. Joe Richey and Mrs. Marion Melton, of Daytona Beach. Florida, were from Friday to Monday guests of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Richey. On Sunday. they ail were dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs Gerald Wolford and family, of Westville. Also Mr. and Mrs. Norman Taylor and Vicki and Mrs. Dorothy Satkoski were guests in the Wolford home for Sunday dinner.
Pitrick Corwin left for Germany on Wednesday, Octobe r 7 where he will be stationed for six weeks. The Wisler reunion was held Sunday at Stuntz Pine Forest with 69 in attendance, coming from Niles, and St Joseph. Michigan, South Bend, Lt Porte, Union MiLs. Hamlet, Angola, Fort Wayne. Mrs Grant Steele and • Mrs. Howard Tuttle were in Mansfield Ohio over the week end where they attended the National African Violet Gesneriad Convention Wayne won the gy^ briders award for his streptocarpus seedlings and the Feeces won the second rosette ribbon for commercial display. Mr. and Mrs Russell Ruby arrived in South Bend Monday night by jet plane from Batavia New York, where Mrs. Ruby has been conf.ned in a hospital there due to an automobile accident in Batavia. Mrs. Ruby was taken to K Street hospital in LaPorte by ambulance where she is recovering satisf u torily from multip’e injuries as a result of the accident Mrs. Ruby st ite- that they had wonderful care while in the hospital away from home, but seemed good to be home ig mi among acquamtences Cards and calls will be appreciated.

Colorado, were in Walkerton for several da vs visiting n.s mother. Mrs D. C Germaine, Rick and Joni. They were called here on account of the death of Mr. Chudanovs stepfather, D. C. Germaine. Better Homes Extension Club Plans Trip The Better Homes Extension Club is again sponsoring the annual bus trip into Chicago. The trip is planned for Wednesday, December 2 and the bus will leave Walkerton at 8 am. from the Town Hall and return that same evening. The bus taxes tne passengers right downtown Chicago arriving at Marshall Fields and the group will meet back there to catch the bus for home. On the way home the group will stop at Mr. Smorgasbord in Hammond for supper Reservations are due with the $4 00 bus faro to Mrs Charles Minter or Mrs. Wayne Cover by November 18.
