Mrs. Edna Teegarden, of Mar ion, was a recent guest of her mother, Mrs. John Crothers. Rev. and Mrs. Kent Bennett and children spent Monday evening with the former's twin broth, er, Rev. Keith Bennett and family in South Bend. Mr. add Mrs. Mark Plain the former Kathy Shupert. have moved to their new home at 147 11 Arnold Drive, West Mfayette. Mr. Plain is majoring in engineering at Purdue and is a gradut ate of Indiana University. Prank Fetzer celebrated his 9tth birthday on Sunday. Sept ember 6 at the home of his daughter, Mrs Clarence Heim. He appreciated the visits cards and gifts from friends and relatives. Brethren Church will meet at the home of John Oberly at Wyatt on Sunday afternoon, September 20. Mr. ard Mrs. Ronald Sprigg left last Sunday for Ft. Leonard Wood. Missouri, after spending last week with their parents. Mr. and Mrs. Fred Schultz Mr. ar.d Mr< Paul Kurzhal. Mr. and Mrs Elmer Kurzhal, of South Bead, were recent visitors of Mr, and Mrs Herbert Kurz hal. Mr. ar.d Mrs. George Sheneman and M^ and Mrs. Fred Sheneman spent a week end at Bellaire, Michigan where they visited the family of Charles Sheneman, a brother of Fred’s. Mr and Mrs. Harry Clark and Mrs. Gertrude Sheneman attend ed the Golden Age Retreat at Shipshewanna last week. Mr. and Mrs Hiram Rupel returned home recently from a vacation tiip. They visited with Mr. and Mrs. Myron Gohn. at Whitefish. Montana, and they also visited other places of interest while driving through the many different states. Sunday visitors of Mrs. Bertha Schrader were Mrs. Joe Vargo, of South Bend, and John Miller, of New Road. Monday visitors were Mrs. Millard Richard, Fish Lake. The South Bend Community School Corp. Adult Sewing Class will be held at the North Liberty High School from 6:20 to 9:30 p.m. beginning on September 21. The course will be for 12 weeks and the fee is $7.50. D. Mr. and Mrs. Dean Morris and family moved to Kaamazoo, Michigan, last week. Mr. and Mrs. Geno Baughman Walkerton, were Sunday dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Claude Sheneman. Mr. and Mrs. David Roush and Jeffy, of Bremen, spent Sunday evening with Mrs. Edith Steele. OVER «o<Ll B HOLDS PICNIC The Over 6U Club picnic was held last Wednesday in the North Liberty Park with 30 attending. Their pleasure of having Mrs. Erma Perry. Aunt of Chloe Jackson and school mate of many members as a guest, also Mrs. Allsop a new member of the club attended. Much tasty and delicious food was devoured and the afternoon was spent visiting and reminissing the Good Old Days. The next meeting will be on October 14 at the Community Building with the election of officers being held. Miss Carol Steele has left for Hanover college at Hanover, Indiana where she will be a freshman. Miss Nancy Steele re turned to her studies at Manchester college.
