CROSS COUNTRY RESULTS The opening of the season far the cross country team from John Glenn Thursday, Sept. 3. rang out on a winning note for the Falcons. The Falcons ran against the South Central Satellites to a 21> 30 win. The Satellites took 1-2 in the meet behind veterans Bob Hutchens and Ron Schoff. Hutchens was the winner in 11:20, while Schoff ran 11:42. Mark Hockney placed fourth in 12:29. But the final scorers for the Satellites were 15 the (Bryan Guse in 14:20 and 16th Stan Powers in 15:331. Glenn used balance in the per sons of Curt Pletcher, third, in 12:25; Al Buchtel, fifth. 13 minutes; Mike Fitzgerald, sixth. 13: 04; Bruce Saxton, seventh, 13:05 and Brad Gillies eighth 13:25.
