Mr. and Mrs. Nelson Kinney of Walkerton were Tuesday overnight g lests in the home of Mr. and Mis. Clyde Collins. The annual Hostetler reunion was held Sundiv at Stuntz Pine Forest w.th the usual carry-in dinner and games for the young and old. Marvin Shenks was elected piesident for next year. There were approximately 75 in attendance. Mrs Betty Crosslev is visiting her mother. Mrs. O. R. Barney. Walkerton, upon recently return ing from the National School Orchestra Associatin’* twelfth annual convention at Elon College. N. C. Norma Therese Crosslev. her daughter, was enrolled as a violir st in the NSOA Youth Symphony there. Mrs. Crossley taught a \lola clinic for the Directors, coached the viola sec tion to the Youth Symphony, and pluwd in the Direi tor’s Symphony conducted by Henry Mazer. The convention elected Mrs. Crossley educational representative to the National Board of the NSOA She will be re turning to teach at Western THUniversity Laboratory School this week, and Norma is returning to Louisana i State University, Baton Rouge, where she received the 1970 Sternberg Award for outstanding academic achievement in the Honors- Division.

Delta Long will leave Friday, September 4 for Dublin, Ireland to vlst with her son, Patrick Long and his wife Iris and their new daughter, Leiza. Mrs. Long has never met her daughter in-law. She will be spending three weeks with them. The Koontz Lake Conservation club meeting. Saturday. Septem her 5 will start at 5:30 CDT for the pot luck supper.
