LEGAL NOTICE ORDINANCE No. 2 - 1970 An Ordinance annexing contiguous territory to the Town of Walkerton. St. Joseph County, Indiana, and provididng zoning classification therefor. WHEREAS, the Board of Town Trustees of the Town of Walkerton have concluded that the following described territory lying contiguous to the corporate limits of the Town of Walkerton, St. Joseph County. Indiana, be annexed and declared to be a part of the Town of Walkerton and that said territory be provided with the zoaing classification set forth below, NOW THREREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TOWN TRUSTEES OF THE TOWN OF WALKERTON. After tax levies have been determined, and presented to the county auditor not later than two days prior to the second Monday in September, and the levy fixed by the county tax adjustment board or on their failure so to do, by the county auditor, ten or more tax payers feeling themselves aggrieved by such levies, may appeal to the state board of tax commiaaioners for further and final hearing thereon by filing of petition with the county auditor on or before the fourth Monday of September or on or before the tenth day after publa atfon by the county audtior of tax rate charged, whichever date is later, and the state board will fix a date for hearing in this tcimty. h CLAUDE E.
