Mr. and Mrs. Donald Wray and Mary Helen spent last week at Walloon Lake, Petoskey, Michigan. 41 <t!H Janet, Julie and Jim Ryan spent the weekend with their grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Burch. Mrs. Calvin Tarlton, John and Steve of Garrett were in Walkerton last Wednesday calling on friends and former neighbors. Mr. and Mrs. Herman Henry visited Mr. and Mrs. Porter Myers in Monticello Sunday. Sunday guests of Mr. and Mrs. Agnew Ludwig, Steve, Don and David were Mr. and Mrs. A. Morihiro of Wailuku Maui, Hawaii. Also Morrey Morihiro, Judy and Julie Miller of Indianapolis and Mr and Mrs. Delbert Whitaker and daughter, Karen. Mrs. Lewis Kizer of North Webster was in Walkerton last week visiting Mrs. Dwight Steinke and other a^uaintances. Mr. James uaraner and son Darrell of Cleveland, Ohio visited his aunt. Mrs. Belle Hardenbrook, Friday night and Saturday of last week. Mrs. Jim Kvasnica and son Jimmy of North Olmsted. Ohio, spent last week with her mother. Mrs. Martha Lowry’ and brother, John. Mrs. Kvasnica came Friday for the weekend and they’ returned home on Sunday. Mr. and Mrs Charles Gilman of Bonita. California are guests of Mr. and Mrs. John Crambert. The Gilman’s are former Walkerton residents. On Wednesday August .26 Mrs. George Lamphere entertained with a luncheon* for Mrs. Gi/man. Other guelts were Mrs. John Crambert, Mrs. Alex Pearson, Mrs. Beryl Dixon and Mrs. Ellen Brede. The afternoon was spent socially.

Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Williams Worthington, Indiana, were ovvernight guests of Mr. William’s brother and wife. Mr. and Mrs. Newton Williams. Sunday dinner and evening guests of Mr. and Mrs. Roy Freeman and Mary’ Ann were Mr. and Mrs. Duane Freeman and Lori Ann, Mr. and Mrs. Gary’ Freeman. Eric and Neil, Mr. and Mrs. Larry Braner, Mr. and Mrs. Buel Wheeler. Mrs. Hazel Hoover, and Mrs. Blanche Matz. Mr. and Mrs. James Griffith and son of Indianapolis were week end guests of Rev. and Mrs. John Goodpasture. This week end guests will be Mr. and Mrs. Cliff Vance of Anderson. Mr. and Mrs. Griffith and family of Anderspn have spent the summer with her parents, the Goodpastures. Mr. and Mrs. Nathan (Steve) Baker, Leaf and Kipp, of Hemet. California, are here for a few days visit. They are staying at the Ken Gillies residence and visiting with friends and relatives. The couple was married Saturday during an 11 am. ceremony in St. Adalbert’s Catholic Church. Rev. John Moskal celebrated the nuptial mass.
