The response to last week’s announcement concerning the “Premier” was overwhelming. A local philantropist offered a nominal sum plus the intention of having the aristocrat bronzed and placed in a |>ark adjacent to a competitive dealership. While this offer was seriously considered by the hoard of directors at Mahoney-Mann, It was nevertheless relegated to second place in favor of an offer by four outstanding young men of the area who expressed the desire to Restore the luxury limousine to its greatness of long ago, and to keep the old warrior o? the road in operable condition. However, these aforementioned young men threw the board of directors into a stage of panic when they made known their intention to garb the chi nobleman in yellow and blue enamel to advertise one of the many fine fuels that propel his forefathers and his descendants along the main arteries of our nation. The “Board” finally solved its dilemna by deciding to (dace the matter in the hands of you, the a'litomotive public. Which shall it Im*? Shall the “Premier" once again roll down the streets of our community and fulfill the dreams of his designers and producers even though subjected to a fare lifting; or shall he be "pul to pasture?” The decision Is in your hands. Please make your wishes known by contacting any member of the Mahoney-Mann organization; or call the dealership at your convenience. All replies will Ite held in strictest confidence.
