Miss Mary Lancaster and Ed Sampson were united in marriage during a 2:30 p.m. ceremony in the Community Baptist Church, Smith Bend on Saturday, June 13 with pastor Springer performing the double-ring ceremony. Organist was Joan Slarb of North Liberty and Mr. Meri Skaggs of South Bend was the vocalist. Parents of the couple are Mrs. Dora Lancaster, Route 1, Walkerton. and the late Lyle Lancaster and Mr. and Mrs. Darrell Sampson, Route 1, Plymouth. Given in marriage by her brother Dale the bride was wearing a floor-length gown of Venice lace and chiffon over taffeta. The gown featured an Empire bodice, easy A line skirt, high stand-up collar, long sheer bishop sleeves, cuffs and bodice trimmid with lace and a chiffon chapel length train trimmed in lace. veil. She carried her father's Bible with a red rose centered on it. Matron of honor was Vickie Washburn of Plymouth. Bridesmaids were Vickie Sampson, sister of the groom and Kathy Kiner of Lakeville. Lisa Sampson, sister of the groom was the flower girl. Bill Mumaw, Lakeville, was the best man and groomsmen were Jeff Lehr of Lakeville and Barry Maddox of Culver. Candlelighters were Ted Sampson, brother of the groom and Brian Price of South Bend. Ushers were Rodney Purvis, Lakeville and Randall Ogle of North Liberty. A reception was held following the ceremony in the church social rooms. Debbie Sampson, sister of the groom, was in charge of the guest book and Carolyn Johnson, aunt of the biide, was in charge of the gifts. A supper was held in the evening in the Rebekah Lodge,
Walkerton, for the immediate families. The couple is now at home in Bremen. NARAGON — GAMBLE The Harris Prairie Church of Christ in Granger was the scene for the 2 p.m. ceremony on Saturday, June 27 which united Miss Mary Kathy Gamble and Kent Errol Naragon in holy matrimony, officiated by Rev. Edgar Erskin. Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Gamble, 14036 Brick Road. Granger, are the parents of the bride and Mr. and Mrs. Willis Naragon, 25630 Riley Road. North Liberty, are the parents of the groom. Miss Lind Hunt, Mishawaka, served as maid of honor and Mrs. Glenn Osman, Mishawaka, was the matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Miss Vicki Gamble, Granger, sister of the bride, and Mrs. James Glover, South Bend The attendants wore blue gowns. Miss Lori Anne Fodrocy, North Liberty, was the flower girl. Michael Clark, North Liberty, served as best man and the ushers were James Mullin, Muncie; Gary Green. Muncie; Phillip Lenguel, Munster; Daniel Gamble, South Bend, and Joseph Fodrocy, North Liberty. Brian Naragon, North Liberty, was the ring bearer. A reception was held following the ceremony in the Riverview Lodge Mishawaka. liie bride L a graduate of Penn High School and is presently employed with Associates Investment Co., South Bend. The groom is a gi iduate of North Liberty High Schol and is attending Ball State University, Muncie where he is a member of Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity. The couple will be at home in North Liberty. ALBRIGHT — (LARK Nupital vows were exchanged between Miss Carol Ann Clark and Allen Albright on Friday evening during a 6:30 p.m. ceremony in the St. John's Lutheran Church, North Liberty. Rev. Michael Knepp, North Liberty, was best man. The newlyweds greeted guests at a reception in the Community Building, North Liberty following the ceremony. Mrs. Albright is a graduate of North Liberty High School and is attending Indiana Vocational Technical College in training for practical nursing. JGHS Runs Record To 8-3 The John Glenn High School summer baseball team raised their record to 8-3 Monday evening with a victory over Triton, 8-7. The Falcons still trail the undefeated La Ville Lancers in League play, but have been playing well with their young team. In Monday's game.
