Rev. and Mrs. Dean Krieg and family and Mrs. Bert Kreig attended the wedding of their niece and granddaughter, respectively, of Diana Kreig, daughter of Rev. and Mrs. Rex Kreig in Cashocton, Ohio, last Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Carl Fults. Lake of the Woods, and Mrs. Gertrude Sheneman of North Liberty were guests at a brithd ly dinner party in the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Laidig in Indianapolis. The occasion was in honor of Mr. Fults.

Claude Schrader and son, Raymond of Holly Hill, Florida and Mrs. Marlene Gr.itner and son, Greg of Walkerton were luncheon guests last Friday of Mrs. Edith Steele. Mrs. Claude Rickey of Clearwater, Florida and Mrs. Wayne White and daughter of Marion were recent callers of Mrs. Vern Beauchamp. Mr. Clarence Thomas has been a patient in Memorial hospital, South Bend since Sunday. Mr. Thomas is the father of Mrs. Frank Sims Jr., of North LibMr. and Mrs. Ernest Reason of South Bend call- d on the latter’s sister, Mrs. Otto Kurzhal last Thursday. Sunday afternoon milers were Mrs. Hittie Glaser and Mr. and Mrs. B. Thompson of South Bend. Mr. and Mrs. Fred DeCot id res attended the fune-al of Fred McNutt at Waveland, Indiana last Tuesday. Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Singleton. State Rd. 4 west, were given a surprise by their children Sunday, June 11 on their 40th wedding anniversary. A carry-in dinner and anniversary cake was enjoyed. Those present were Mr. and Mis. Rex Trigg and family and Mr. arid Mrs. Jerry Singleton and family. Mr. and Mrs. Fred DeCoudres entei tained at a birthday dinner party for Mrs. Chai les Finch of Hanna. Guests were Mrs. Harry Cilery of South Bend. Mrs. Clem DeCoudres. North Liberty, Mr. and Mrs. Finch, Hanna md Mrs. Thomas Clark of Avon Park, Florida. Mrs. Olive Evans of Russellville was a week end guest of the DeCoudres.
