Mrs Everett Baker, Walkerton suffered a broken collarbone and ankle in a fall in her home March 18 and is a patient in the E Street Hospital in BiPorte. Mrs. Keith (Irene) Baker underwent major surgery March 2nd. Her address is Room 881, Spohn Hospital, C’oi pus Christi, Texas 78104 Mrs. Thelma Kost will spend Easter in South Bend with her daughter. Mr and Mis. Charles Goepfrich and family Mr. and Mrs Bud Bind and sons. Tom and Jerry, of Indianapolis were guests of Mrs. Land' sister, Mrs. George Hillis on Sunday. Mr. and Mrs John Clark and family are spending the Easter week vacation touring Florida and enjoying the scenic places of the state. Mr. Ervin Stuntz and Mr. Hayward Stuntz were in St. Paul Minnesota Monday to see some automatic tree bailers for Christmas trees. Mr and Mrs Robert Gardner were in Wanatah on Sunday visiting in the home of her sister, Mr. and Mrs. Richard Land and family. Craig DeMyer, a freshmean at Indiana Central College. Indianapolis is spending the mid-semes-ter vacation with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Arthur DeMyer.

Gary Trost a freshman at Indiana State University, Terre Haute is spending the spring vacation at home. Miss Karen Hanni is spending a weeks vacation at home with her parents, Dr. and Mrs. Robert Hanni and family. Karen is a student at Indiana Central College, Indianapolis. Mrs< Percy Selkirk has returned to her home at Koontz Lake after spending the winter months with her daughters in Oklahoma, Downers, Brove, Illinois, and Royal Oaks, Michigan. Koontz Lake Conservation Club regular meeting is Saturday evening, at the club house, at 5:30 pm CST with a pot luck supper and social hour. Mrs. George Hilils and Mrs. Newell will be the hostesses. NL Grade School Helps Support Project The North Liberty Grade School recently received thanks from the L’SS Kawishiwi for history books they plan to use in the Philhpines. The ship s company has taken an interest in the children of Cults and are helping them get a school started. Mrs Hirschler, who recently taught 4th grade ta North Liberty. started the idea when her husband, an officer on the ship wrote to her of their project. The books were replaced with new adoptions this year.

NL Jr. High Wrestling News The North Liberty Junior High Wrestling team has completed its .season with the South Bend Community School meet in which the North Liberty boys finished sixth out of nine in their half. The last six teams were separated bv only , single point. Randy Reeder, wrestling in the 105 weight division, was an individual champion in this meet Over all in dual competition, the Junior High team won five and lost three.
