Mr. and Mrs Melvin Gouker returned home recently from Rockport, Texas. Holy Communion service will be at the First Brethren Church on Sunday, March 27 at 7 p.m. Good Friday services will be at 1 p.m. in the First Brethern Church with the speaker being Rev. Tom Jones, pastor of the Church of Christ. North Liberty. Mr and Mrs Harold Brown of Lakeville, Rev. Dean Krieg and Ralph Lauderba* k were recent callers of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Taylor. Mr and Mrs Charles Noel and children visited Mr. and Mrs. Donald Noel and daughter on Wednesday evening at the Eldon Clark s before the Noels left for Georgia. Mrs. Robert Geyer accompanied her daughter and son-in-law home to Cincinatti, Ohio on Sunday for a weeks vacation. She will be returning home on Sunday with Mr. Geyer who will go there for the week end. Mr. and Mrs Charles Dillon were Thursday dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Irvin Haag at New Carlisle. Other guests were Mr. and Mrs J. O. Hostetler of Gary. Sunday evening visitors of the Dillons were Mr. and Mrs Raymond Dillon and Ricky of Mishawaka Mr and Mrs. Ronald O'Dell of Cincinatti, Ohio, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Geyer and Dawn of Mishawaka. Mrs. Walter Geyer of Lakeville. Mrs. Nellie Cilery and Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Roush of North Liberty were guests at a birthday dinner party on Sunday, March 15 at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Geyer of ■Pine Road. Th® occasion was in honor of Barbara O'Dell and Shirley Roush who celebrated their birthdays and they are the daughters of Mr. and Mrs. Geyer.

Mr. and Mrs Willis Naragon called on Mr. and Mrs. Eldon Kane on Sunday evening. Mrs. Fred Shupert has been a suigical patient* in Memorial Hospital, South Bend Mis. Miry Schang, Eric and Craig of Leesburg spent Sunday alter noon with the former's father, Albert Schrader of Pine Road. Mr. and Mrs Donald L. Noel and daughter, Tracee Diane, are now in their new home in Americus. Georgia. Mrs. Noel is the former Reva Diane Clark, daughter ot Mr. and Mrs. Eldon Clark. Mrs. Dan Roser. Mis. Osborn Fisher, Mrs. Lila Giai and Mrs. Herman Brmkholf of the North Liberty Womans Club attended the convention held at the Congregational Church in South Bend last week. Mrs. Fisher twaS elected Secretary of the County Club. The North Liberty Woman's Club will hold its regular meeting Friday, March 20 at the home of Mrs. Dan Roser, at 7:30 p.m. Mrs. Zelpha Walsh will give a book review. Hostesses are Mrs. Howard Loucks and Mrs. Harley Mangus. In honor of the March birthdays of Fred Sheneman, Mrs. Robert Sheneman, Mrs. George Sheneman and Eddie Amm, a birthday dinner was given in the home of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Sheneman on Sunday. Mr. and Mrs Eldon Clark received word last Monday morning that Mrs. Clark s father, Mr. V Bryce Omsby is seriously ill and in the hospital in Marion, Indiana. This Monday they receixed word that her father is doing much better and has been taken out of the intensive care unit. Mr and Mrs. ML. Clark gave a quiet farewell dinner for their granddaughter, the former Reva Clark. Mr. and Mrs. Donald L. Noel and daughter, their first great-granddaughter. Those attending the dinner were the Noels and Mr. and Mrs. Eldon •Clark. Those calling on the Noels later were Mr. and Mrs. Larry J. Clark and daughter, Susan Kaye, of Mishwaaka. They also brought a cake, nicely decorated with yellow roses and bidding good bye to Don, Reva, and Tracee Also calling on them were Mr. Leslie Stewart and Miss Valerie Wolfe of North Liberty. Mr. Stewart is a nephew of Mr Donald Noel. Also calling on them were Mr and Mrs. James Ritchie of North Liberty, Mrs. Ritchie is a cousin of Mrs. Noel.

Mr. and Mrs. Robert Strope and Sandra of South Bend were Sunday dinner guests of the formers parents, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Strope.
