Bruce Fitzgerald, Walkerton underwent surgery Monday February 23 in the E Street Hospital, LaPorte. Dennis Lee Burch, route 1, Walkerton, is listed amoung the January graduates from Purdue University, with distin lion, and will receive a Bachelor degree in Agriculture. Mrs. Hazel Barden, RR 2 Walkerton is a patient in Memorial Hospital. South Rend. She suffered a broken leg February 3 from a fall on the ice. Her room number is 309.

South Bend, on Friday February 27 at 8:00 p.m. A reception for- relatives and friends of the students will be held in the social hall of the church immediately following the ceremony.

Delivery will be April 8 to 19 at •’>o cents a box, to be paid upon delivery. There are five varieties of cookies offeied this year - ScotTeas, Fudge Cremes, Chcolate and Vanilla Cremes, Mints and Savanahs. Again this year 5 cents from the sale of each box of cookies will stay in the local troops with 22’ * cents from each box going to the Northern Indiana Girl Scout Council to be used for camping activities including camperships for which local girls can apply. If you have been missed by the Girl Scouts taking orders and would like to help them in this money raising event you can call Mrs. Morris Searfoss, the Tiaoke Neighborhood Cookie Chairman at 586-3521 and your order will be relayed to one of the troops.
