Mrs. Soloma Knowlton spent last Thursday with Mr. and Mrs. Terry Knowlton. Mr. nd Mrs. Larry Clark, Walkerton. entertained guests at a family get-together party and supper last Tuesday evening. February 10. Guests were Mr. and Mrs. Russel Clark, Walkerton. Mr. and Mrs. Harold Clark and Bruce. Mr. and Mrs. David Clark and Veronica of North Liberty. The occasion was in honor of the birthday of Larry and the wedding anniversary of his parents. Mr. and Mrs. Russell Clark, which were both on the same date, February 11. Mr, and Mrs. Roy Reamsehnyder were Sunday dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Herman Kaser in South Bend.

John Harbaugh, who has been a patient in Memorial hospital, South Bend, is expected to be released sometime in the near future. JOSEPH COl M 3 HOME Sixty elderly people at the St Joseph County Home greatly enjoyed the Valentine Party given to them by the North Liberty Zeta Pi chapter of Tri Kappa on Sunday, February 15 Tri Kappa members assisted the people as they spent the afternoon playing bingo and winning prizes Refreshments of home made Valentine cookies and cupcakes were served with a promise to return to the home

The condition of Otto Kurzhal, who is a patient in the E Street Division hospital, LaPorte, remains the same. Mrs. (’kirn Ames and Mrs. Dorothy Barr of South Bend were recent visitors of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Clark. Mis. Marsha Mlekoda is a patient in Memorial hospital, South Bend since Monday of this week. Craig Parmley, son of Mr. and Mrs. Gene Parmley wh was a patient in Pine Lake D'vision hospital, Lal’orte, has returned home. Sunday dinner guests of Mr. and Mis. Claude Sheneman were Mis. Dora Walter, Lineville, C.urencc Schmcltz, Walkerton, Mis. Beatrice Sheneman. Mrs. Addie Hanson and Cleo Sheneman all of this vicinity. Evening callers were Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Folk and daughters. OVER SIXTY CLUB The club meeting of the Over Sixty Club was enjoyed on February 11th with twenty-nine members and four guests presvn. The meeting opened with a business session the secretaries report being read and the refreshment comm ttee for the M ar< h meeting being selected which consisted of Francis Slattery, Ruth Bare and Chloe Jackson. Devotions wen* given by Rev. Russel Schelling, pastor of tinFirst Baptist Church. The piui was played by his lovely wife for songs sung by the group in memory of Washingtons and Lincoln’s birthdays also Valentines Day. Mrs. Schelling played and sang a special. Our thanks to Rev. .and Mrs. Schelling for the inspiration in word and song. The program consisted of readings read by Gertie Sheneman and Ed Wolf. A poem and humorous story by Edith Step was also heard. A guessing game of candy hearts was wor by Frank Fetzer and Ed Wolf receiving the candy as their prize. Rev. Miller officiated. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William S. Satterfield. Rockville Mr. and Mrs. Roy J. Wilcox. 30t Lafayette St.. North Liberty, are the parents of the bridegroom. The bride chose a gown of white satin with a fitted bodice, sheer yoke and sleeves and a high round neckline. The full skirt flowed into a long train. A lace flower headpiece secured the bride’s elbow length veil. She carried a cascade of red and pink sweetheart roses and stephanotis.
