I - □ OBITUARIES □ D Dr. Alfred Tho npson Funeral services for Dr. Alfred A. Thompson, 91, Tyner, were at 2 p.m. on Wednesday at the Tyner United Methodist Church with Dr, N. Liesemer and Rev. N. L. King officiating. Burial was in the Oak Hill Cemetery, Plymouth. Dr. Thompson died at 10:45 am., Sunday at the Haven Hubbard Home, New Carlisle after being in failing health for the past 10 years. He was a retired physician and served two years as president of the Marshall County Medical Society and served as Trustee of Indiana Central College, Indianapolis for 18 years. Other survivors include three sons, Dr. John Thompson, South Bend; Dwight Thomps-n, Walkerton; and Dr. Gene Thompson; Indianapolis; two sisters, Mrs. Alma Welborn, Plymouth; and Mrs. Mazie Biggins, Tyner; eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. One son, Russell Thompson preceded him in death. Dr. Thompson was a graduate of the Medical School of Indiana in 1905 and was a member of the Marshall County Medical Society and the Indiana State Medical Society. He was awarded the 50-year medal in 1957 for his service. He was also a member of the American Medical Association; Tyner I. O. O. F. Lodge; Masonic Lodge, Walkerton; American Legion and the

Tyner United Methodist Church. Mrs. Olive Farrar Mrs. Olive a. Farrar, 68, of 806 Illinois St., Walkerton, died at 7:35 p.m. Monday in E St. Division Hospital, LaPorte after a sudden illness. She was a school teacher in Walkerton. She was bom Oct. Jl, 1901, in West Bridge Water, Pa., and came to the North Liberty-Walkerton area as a child. On April 1, 1922, in North Liberty, she was married to Ewart William Farrar W'ho died July 19, 1964. Surviving are two sons, William of Warsaw and R. Berdman of South Bend; three daughters, Mrs. Jeanette Bock of Columbia City, Mrs. Marcella Guthrie of Terre Haute and Mrs. Kay Hardman of Lagrange, Ill.; 21 grandchildren; four brothers, Chalnier Stull of Three Rivers, Midi., Olin Stull of Pennsylvania, Miller Stull of South Bend, and Richard Stull of Niles, and three sisters, Mrs. Lilliam Andrews of Mishawaka, Mrs. Margaret Baker of Kokomo, and Mrs. Mary Bergland of North Liberty. Friends may call at the Nusbaum Funeral Home until 11:00 a.m. today (Thursday) and from noon until time of services at 1:30 at First PresbjAerian Church, Rev Ken Bergner, pastor Burial will be in Woodlawn cemeterey. Mrs. Farrar was a past matron of the O.E.S. Chapter of Walkerton, a member of the Indiana State Teacher's Assn., the First Presbyterian Church, and the Internation Reeders’ Assn. O.E.S. Football Scoreboard Fund The list of donors continues to grow for the Lions Club sponsored Football Scorebard Fund as the drive now stands at $885.00. The latest donors include: Dr. B. L.
