Mrs. Paul Richey underwent major surgery in Memorial hospital South Bend Wednesday. Mr. Tim Gardner was home over the week end from Indiana University. Mr. and Mrs. Geraid Kaufman ■Mid family of Fish Lake. Mrs. Emma Zigler and Art were Sunday evening dinner guests of Mrs. Esther Kaufman. Dr. and Mrs. Robert Fenstermacher and family were in Indianapolis Saturday to attend the funeral *4 her grandfather who was 94 years old Burial services were held in Vindnnes. Tim Gardner accompanied by John Verkier, Jeff Ja< ab n 1 John Harness were in Chi* aro Buturday to attend the White Sox Boy’s Camp reunion held at the Conrad Hilton Hotel. Mr. and Mrs. John Guttman entertained with a dessert luncheon Saturday evening for Mr. and Mrs Faye Parker of LaPorle. Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Orcutt and Mr und Mrs. William Engleman. Bridge was enjoyed during the evening. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Steinke, Juanita and Linda returned Thursday evening from a three weeks holiday trip to Florida. They visited Mr. and Mrs. LaMar Stably at Jacksonville, also other relatives at West IM Im Beach and Clearwater. They spent some time at Tarpon Springs and Cypress Gardens. Mr. and Mrs. William Fifer and Mr. and Mra William Fifer Jr. and family, Mrs. Bertha Gearhart all of Hamlet, and Mrs. Martha Mull were dinner guests Sunday of Mr. and Mrs. Martin Steinke. Guests were Mrs. Harry Kane and daughter, Mrs. Marley Knowlton, Mrs. Cecil Weber, and Mrs. Kenneth Holdeiread of Plymouth. The house was gayly decorated for the Christmas season. A gift exchange was held. Rev. Kent Bennett, of the First Brethren Church gave an intensive study of One Episode in the Greatest Drama of all Times "Christmas". All members brought their Bibles und followed along in them. Mrs. Osborn Fisher conducted the business meeting. Mrs. Herman Brmkhoff lead the flag salute. A committee composed of Mrs. Clel I Bare, Mrs Jnhn Mullen and Mrs. Herman Brinkhoff was appointed to plan where to have lunch proceeding the club’s tour of Reis's Furniture Store on Feb 11th.
