White House Christinas Tree Is From Indiana Mr. and Mrs. Ervin Stuntz. president of the Indiana Chirstmas Tree Growers Association, will assist in the ceremonies rtf the cutting of the Christmas Tree for the White House, December 9 at 10:00 am. EST. State Representative and Senator's will also be there to assist In the dedication of their beautiful 20 ft. White Pine grown by Gale Sheets near Osgood, Indiana In Rickley County. Committees for selecting the tree were from all over Indiana as they dn>ve many miles to inspect offerings. This tree had to be plantation grown Indiana growers have worked hard to obtain such a high standard to be selected to grace ’he Blue Room of the White House. The public Is invited to this Indiana’s first Christmas Tree cutting for the White House on the Gale Sheets Plantation. 4 miles east of Osgood, then north 1 mile then west 1 mile and 1 mile aouth. When you think your mind is getting broader, maybe it's just your conscience stretching.
KL Church To Present Christmas Cantata Sunday "Night of Miracles" is the title of the Christmas cantata to be presented by the choir of the Koontz Lake Missionary Church Sunday at 6:30 p.m. CST The choir is directed by William Henderson. band director at John Glenn High School. The cantata, written by John Peterson, will be presented by a choir of approximately 20 voices. Soloists are Mrs. Jack Deisch, Robert Ihilliam. Mrs. Robert Varga will be the narrator; and accompanists are Mrs. William Carter and Mrs. Richard Matteson. The annual Christmas program by the Sunday school children will be presented at 9:40 a.m. Sunday. The morning worship service will be at 10:15, with Pastor Richard Matteson bringing the Christmas sermon. The public is cordially Invited to attend the special events of the day. Reaver Creek Church To Give Christmas Program The Beaver Creek Wesleyan Church will present a Christmas program titled "Christmas Is a Miracle", This coming Sunday evening. December 22. 7:00 p.m.
