Friday at 2:00 p.m. to celebrate the birthday of Mra Pearse. She was presented with a bouquet of red roses. Guests were, Mrs. Herman Brinkhuff, Mrs. Wallace Aldrich, Mrs. Tom McGwin and Miss Julie Kane all of North Liberty. Mrs. Faith Weller of South Bend and Mrs. Mary Bowers of Walkerton. The meeting was called to order by the president, Mrs. Charles Hammaker. Mrs. Claude Sheneman gave devotions cm the theme of ’Time." Roll call was answered by telling about past Thanksgiving Days. The serving table was centered with a large birthday cake with candles. Assisting hostesses were Mrs. Hammaker and Mrs. Adolph Graf. Mrs. Linder Williams closed the meeting with a poem. The next meeting of the class will be a Christmas dinner at the home of Mrs. Linder Williams Dec. Bth (Sunday) at 1:00 p.m. at this time members will entertain their husbands. Meat, rolls and beverages will be furnished. Members are asked to bring salads and desserts. Assisting hostesses will be Mrs. Herman Steele and Mrs. Richard Hanley.
