Business Women Have Halloween Party Walkerton Biuine, ■ ond Professional Women s Club met for their dinner and meeting Oct. 21 a t the Legion Hall. The hostesses were masked and dressed in the Mod fashion or clowns. Several members came in disguise also. The fall decor was used in the decorations with Indian corn and gourds. Mrs. Harold Sheaks gave the table grace. Mrs. George Meyers, president conducted the business meeting. Guests introduced were Mrs. Cora Lee Elliot of North Liberty, Mrs. John Sheaks, Mrs. T<>m Card and Mrs. Pearl Malhim. Twenty five dollars was voted tn assist the childrens partys on Halloween and Christmas. Mrs. James Heed and Mrs. Amos Hunt will the club for the Hall oween party. A SIO.OO bond was purchased for T.B $10.(X) was \uted to purchase mens socks for Beatty Hospital at Christmas. New pecan meats have been ordered for the holiday b king. Members were ask to bring gifts fbr Beatty Hospital .'or their Christmas treats ut the next meeting which will be hinged to Nov. 21 at 7 p.m. EST. Mrs. Harry Masterman dressed as a clown was awarded first prize and Mrs. Giace Atwood in her mini skirt outfit was voted second. Mis.
