Thvy received many lovely gifts und their daughter Betty made a beautiful anniversary cake and their granddaughter Saron Jane Hummel also made a cake too. They had a pot luck dinn-*r and then in the evening all enjoyed ice cream and cake, CLAUDE E. HOI SER HONORED A rec^pton honoring Claude E. Houser was given in the Walkerton Public Library on Sunday afternoon from 3 to 5 p.m. Mr. Houser is a member of the Library Board and has served on that board since the library started with only 25 books. Today the library has 15.000 books. A large p</rtrait of Claude was framed and placed tin the wall behind th** librarians desk along with Dr. S. T. Tracy and Milo B. Slick. A plaque was presented bv Mrs. Robert Gardner to Mr. Houser and a tribute was given by a close friend. Judge Roy Shenoman and Stanley Orcutt.
