Matteson. The bride was given in marriage by her father. Organist for the ceremony was Mrs. William Carter. Miss Joanne Sabel was soloist. Boskets of gladioli decorated the alter. The family pews were marked with bows. The traditmnal white runner carpeted the cener aisle. Ruffled lace encircled the j’W* 1 ! neckline and long sleeves of the bride’s gown which was fashioned of white organza over dotted net with a jabot of th*' same lace.
The embroidered bodice was highlighted in the back with two bows from which extend'd th? full chapt l-length tram. A wreath of organza flowerlets center d with tiny p.urls held her veil. She carried a white lace covered Bibi? upon which was a corsage of white carnations and yellow roses. The attendents wm* 1 empire styled, floorlength dresses of citron linen featuring scoop neck accenting the waistline and puff sleeves with olive ribbon slwves. They wore wide t ninud nut bonnots of citron which tied into a bow under the chin, with fresh daisies featured on top. Each attendant carried a "bull" of daisies attached by oliv* green ribbons to their wrists. The attendants were Miss Linda Bottorff, WulkerVon and Miss Maitha Hon.dor, Hamlet, both friends of th * bride. Miss Juha Finley and Miss Dawn Allen, Nieces <>f the newlyweds serwd as flow r girls. They wore short citron dresses with nccklcs accented with daisy appliqu "s. Large bows trimmed the Ixick of the dresses. The girls wore lace pantaloons trimmed in matching citron. They wore sunbonnets to match those of the attendants. Serving as besman was Gts>rgo Singleton of Walkerton, friend of the bridegroom. Groomsmen were Edward Justice of Portage, Indiana and Ronald Justice of Culver, Indiana, brothers of the bridegroom.

Ushering the guests were Mr. Robert Personette, Walkerton and Mr. Thomas Biggins, Culv . Friends and family enjoyed the reception immediately followng the ceremony in the church social room. The serving table holding the four teired caky was decorated with yellow roses and greenery. Serving were Mrs. Nellie Martin and Mrs. Carol Finley, aunts of the bride. Miss Kathy F\ilk, Walkerton and Miss Becky Miller of North Liberty attend I the gift table. The guest book was attended by Al Pitts, a cousin of the brid* 1 . The bride graduated from Oregon-Daivs High School in 1968 The bridegroom graduatt d in 1963 from Grovertown High School. He is employed by AlhsChalmers at LaPorte. The newlyweds t.*>k a sho wedding trip to Miami. Florida. They wdl ivside at Rt. 3 Walkerton, after September 4th.
